We’re over the moon to have been shortlisted for the Bath Life Restaurant Award 2018.
2017 has been a big year for us here the Braz. Thank you to all of our customers, producers and team who have made the past 12 months a fantastic year for the Braz!
Here’s a run down of some of our highlight moments throughout the year.
In 2017 we:
Celebrated 25 years of business. Owner, Andrew Peters picked up the keys in February 1992 and has made the Braz one of Bath’s most popular independent restaurants.
Helped put Bath on the foodie map. We championed food, drink and good times for the Great Bath Feast with Visit Bath in September.
Went local, local, local. We’ve strengthen our partnership with the Bath Farmers’ Market to produce more locally sourced dishes on our menu.
Blushed a little. We picked up some wonderful recommendations from AOL Travel, Taste of the West and Culture Trip during 2017.
Hosted community events. We partnered further with a series of local event organisers, universities and charities to put on some awesome outdoor events. These included Bath Festivals, Bath Folk Festival, Bath Fringe Festival, Bath Spa University and Julian House.
Got creative. We refreshed our brand identity with a new visual language, website and on site creative. We also shot a short promo video, which we’re rather proud of.
Diversified. We’ve had an awesome year with our younger sibling business, Bath Pizza Co. Together we’ve co-hosted some great events and look forward to another busy year of wood fired pizza, top local beers and cider and the famous £10 pizza and prosecco or pint deal!
Got all romantic. We picked up ‘UK’s most romantic restaurant’ award by HolidayLettings.co.uk (TripAdvisor) after being shortlisted against some of the country’s good and great restaurant across the land.
Turned up the music. We love welcoming Bath’s finest musicians to the Braz. Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening we host live music. A mixture of acoustic, jazz, soul and funk, we’ve also put on outdoor gigs with Bath Pizza Co under the Green Park Station roof.
Supported local projects. We're pleased to be at the heart of Green Park on the west side of Bath city centre. One of our many community engagement initiatives saw us help out the Bath Spa University team at Green Park House accommodation to litter pick the local park and riverside area. We're looking forward to the 2018 projects!
